Before the match starts, Del Rio brings a ladder from under the ring and he pushes it into the middle of the ring. The referee yells at Del Rio and then Swagger and Ziggler go for the ladder but Swagger with a kick to the head. Langston and Swagger play tug of war with the ladder and Colter hits Langston from behind. Langston looks at Colter while holding on to the ladder but Swagger hits Langston in the midsection with the ladder. Ziggler goes after Swagger and he picks up the ladder and tosses it to Swagger and connects with a drop kick into the ladder and Swagger goes down.

Colter grabs the ladder and Ziggler with a baseball slide into the ladder and Colter is down. Del Rio attacks Ziggler and then he hits the super kick. Del Rio picks up the ladder and he waits for Ziggler to get up and he hits Ziggler in the shoulder with the ladder. Del Rio goes to the floor and he throws the ladder at Swagger.

Del Rio brings the ladder back into the ring and he grabs the title belt and he climbs the ladder with the belt.

“I didn’t even remember Monday until I watched Raw when I got home,” the champion revealed, in reference to the injury, which he sustained when he interfered in a match between Jack Swagger and Big E Langston. “I don’t even remember traveling from Raw to SmackDown. I don’t remember Tuesday. I remember AJ and Big E taking me to the airport on Wednesday morning.”

“I was told I interfered in a match and tried to get my hands on a ladder,” said Ziggler, piecing together the timeline. “When I bent over to grab it, Jack Swagger kicked me in the head.”

Happily, Ziggler is on the mend since returning home, and his condition is improving.?”I feel a lot better today,” The Showoff told WWE.com of his recovery process. “Yesterday I had a bad headache. Today, I have a slight headache.”

While Ziggler’s suffered concussions before in his career, he said this was by far the worst.

“I didn’t know what day it was; I didn’t know what month it was.” he said. “I’ve had a couple of concussions before and just had a headache. I’ve never not remembered entire days, like someone in a movie.”

He continued, “WWE arranged for a Phoenix Suns doctor to see me. By the time I saw him, he said a CT scan was not necessary. He diagnosed me with retrograde amnesia. I’m going to see him again in a couple of days. I may need [a scan] then.”??

Although Ziggler didn’t deny the injury shook him up a bit — “it’s a little scary,” he explained — he expects to be back in action soon and, happily, hasn’t lost his sense of humor in the meantime.

“When I asked, over and over, what happened, AJ told me that Swagger kicked me in the head,” said Dolph. “Apparently, all I said was ‘classic Swags.’ As for Del Rio, even a zombified me is more charismatic than Del Rio. I don’t get him. Maybe because he’s closer to my Dad’s age.”

Ziggler with a kick to the thigh and Ziggler with a drop kick for a near fall. Ziggler kicks Del Rio in the corner. Ziggler punches Del Rio and he hits a Stinger Splash and gets a near fall. Del Rio with kicks in the corner and then he punches Ziggler. Del Rio with the step up enzuigiri to the shoulder and he gets a near fall. Del Rio tries for a suplex but Ziggler blocks it and Ziggler with a suplex of his own and he gets a near fall.

Ziggler with punches to Del Rio and the referee pulls Ziggler out of the corner. Del Rio with an Irish whip and Del Rio sends Ziggler into the corner and Del Rio with forearms to the kidneys followed by a lungblower. Ziggler falls to the floor and Jack Swagger’s music plays and he comes to the ring with Zeb Colter.

Swagger tells Langston not to touch Colter who has gone from camouflage to a blue vest. Meanwhile, Ziggler is still down on the floor and Del Rio is still in the ring as we go to commercial.

We are back and Ziggler with a reverse chin lock but Del Rio with punches and a sunset flip for a near fall. Ziggler tries for a drop kick but Del Rio moves. Ziggler gets another chance for a drop kick and he connects. We see footage from the commercial break when AJ distracted Del Rio long enough to allow Ziggler to hit a Super X Factor.

Ziggler with a series of elbow drops and then he hits a delayed leaping elbow drop. Ziggler gets a near fall. Ziggler with a kick but Del Rio tosses Dolph into the air and down to the mat. Del Rio misses the step up enzuigiri but he does catch Ziggler in the head when he lands on the mat and Del Rio with a near fall.

Del Rio with a single arm breaker and then he tries for the float over into the cross arm breaker but he takes too long and Dolph with a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. Ziggler goes up top and Del Rio with a punch that stops Ziggler. Del Rio with an inverted superplex and both men are down.

Del Rio punches Ziggler but Ziggler with a kick and neck breaker. Ziggler misses the Stinger Splash and Del Rio with two clotheslines. Del Rio avoids a clothesline and he hits a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Del Rio sets for the super kick and he connects. Del Rio with a near fall. Del Rio signals for the cross arm breaker and after a few counters Del Rio applies the cross arm breaker.

AJ gets on the apron to distract the referee. Langston pulls Del Rio out of the ring and then Langston throws Del Rio into Swagger as the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio (by disqualification)

After the match, Swagger sends Langston into the ring post and he takes care of Del Rio. Swagger pulls out a ladder and Ricardo climbs on his back. Swagger uses the ladder to push Ricardo into the ringside barrier. Swagger hits Ziggler with the ladder and then he throws it at Del Rio.

Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez versus Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger
The match is joined in progress and Colter punches Ricardo while the referee deals with Alberto and Jack. Jack with an Irish whip but he misses a charge into the corner when Ricardo floats over. Alberto and Jack tag in and Del Rio with two clotheslines and a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Del Rio with punches to the kidney but Swagger with an elbow. Del Rio with an arm breaker and he applies the cross arm breaker and Ziggler and Langston attack Del Rio and Swagger.

No Contest
After the match, Ziggler and Langston attack Swagger and Del Rio. Teddy Long comes out again and he has decided that there are not enough teams in this match so he has made this a Triple Threat Tag Match.

Ziggler and Del Rio start and Del Rio with punches and a snap mare. Del Rio with a kick to the back and he gets a near fall. Ricardo tags in and he kicks Ziggler in the chest and gets a near fall. Ricardo with a sliding kick to the head and he tags in Del Rio, who kicks Ziggler in the shoulder and gets a near fall.

Ziggler with a kick to the knee and a drop kick. Langston tags in and he punches Del Rio followed by a belly-to-belly suplex. Langston runs Del Rio into the corner and he connects with a shoulder into the corner. Ziggler tags back in and he punches Del Rio. Ziggler with a Stinger Splash for a near fall.

Langston runs Del Rio into the turnbuckles again and hits another running shoulder to the midsection. Ziggler misses the Stinger Splash after tagging in. Del Rio with a super kick but Swagger tries to interfere and Del Rio with a lungblower to Swagger. Del Rio knocks Colter off the apron. Del Rio drops down and Langston goes over the top rope to the floor. Del Rio clotheslines Ziggler over the top rope to the floor.

Del Rio goes after Colter but Ziggler hits Del Rio from behind and hits a DDT. Ricardo breaks up the cover. Ricardo battles with Ricardo but Ricardo runs into Langston and goes down. Swagger with a belly-to-belly slam to Langston. Del Rio with an enzuigiri to Swagger but Ziggler with a rollup for a near fall.

Del Rio applies the cross arm breaker and Ziggler tags out.

Colter goes to the apron when the bell rings. Langston backs Ricardo into the corner and Langston with a shoulder tackle. Langston with a forearm to Ricardo’s chest. Ricardo with punches and kicks but Langston with three back breakers to Ricardo. Langston with punches to the midsection.

Langston with a running shoulder into the corner and then he rolls Ricardo to the corner. Zeb tags in and Langston charges into the ring post. Ricardo with punches and he hits a drop kick. Colter with punches to Langston.

Ricardo yells at Colter and he wants a piece of Colter while the fans chant USA. Langston with a clothesline to Ricardo followed by a punch and knees to the midsection. Colter pushes Langston to the side and he punches Ricardo.

Zeb claims to have hurt his knee and Swagger checks on it. Ricardo is given the bucket by Alberto and Langston does not feel it. Ricardo throws it at Langston and Langston with a belly-to-belly suplex.

The straps come down and Alberto with an enzuigiri to Langston. Ziggler with a drop kick to Alberto. Swagger sends Ziggler over the top rope to the floor. Langston clotheslines Swagger over the top. Colter covers Ricardo and AJ breaks up the cover. Ricardo with a rollup on Colter for the three count.

Winner: Ricardo Rodriguez

Dolph Ziggler (with AJ Lee and Big E Langston) versus Kofi Kingston in a Champion versus Champion Non Title Match

They lock up and Kofi works on the arm with an arm bar. Ziggler with a waist lock but Kofi with a standing switch and he takes Ziggler to the match and he kicks Ziggler in the face and hits a splash for a near fall. Kofi with a top wrist lock.

Ziggler punches Kofi and he takes Kofi down with a side head lock. Kofi tries for a head scissors but Ziggler avoids it. Ziggler with a shoulder tackle but Kofi with a few leap frogs followed by a back elbow and a drop kick. Kofi tries for SOS but Ziggler escapes and then Kofi with a pendulum kick. Kofi sets for a springboard move but Ziggler drop kicks Kofi to the floor and we go to commercial.

We are back and Ziggler with a rear chin lock on Kofi. Kofi with elbows and punches. Kofi with a forearm. Ziggler with a running clothesline into the corner. Ziggler misses a Stinger splash and both men are down. Ziggler punches Kofi in the corner. Kofi with kicks to Ziggler followed by chops and a drop kick. Kofi with a leaping clothesline and it is time for the Boom Drop. Kofi sets for Trouble in Paradise but Ziggler ducks and he hits a leaping delayed DDT and both men are down.

Ziggler gets a near fall. Ziggler and Kofi exchanges punches but Kofi with SOS for a near fall. Kofi picks up Ziggler but Ziggler with a kick. Kofi avoids a Fameasser and he hits Trouble in Paradise but AJ puts Ziggler’s foot on the rope.

Langston pulls Ziggler to the floor but Kofi with a cross body off the apron onto both men. Kofi rolls Ziggler into the ring and he goes up top. Kofi with a cross body but he can only get a two count. AJ gets on the apron and then she gets into the ring. Kofi knocks Langston off the apron and then Ziggler tries for a rollup but they counter and get near falls. Kofi catapults Ziggler into the turnbuckles and he goes for a cross body but he misses. Ziggler hits the Zig Zag for the three count.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

After the match, Langston pulls down the straps and he picks up Kofi and hits the Big Ending. Langston picks up Kofi again and hits a second Big Ending.

We are back and Dolph, Langston, and AJ walk in the back. AJ and Dolph talk about the job that he did. They bump into Natalya and Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn and AJ argue back and forth. Kaitlyn says that she was naïve last year and she didn’t want to hurt her. Kaitlyn tells AJ to try to take the title from her.
